The Capitol Hill Arts Workshop hosts the CHAW Holiday Fete, an Arts Showcase and Sale, on Saturday, December 7, with activities beginning at 12:00 pm and running throughout the day at the Capitol Hill Arts Workshop, 545 7th St, SE.
Events include:
- Capitol Hill Art League’s (CHAL) annual Give Art and Wrap It Up Holiday Party and Sale from 12:00-8:00 pm – Shop from a selection of “must have” chic, beautiful, bold original art and handcrafted gifts by Capitol Hill Art League artists. This holiday season, give art. The artists will even wrap it up for you.
- CHAW Teaching Artist Sale from 12:30 – 8:00 pm – Do your holiday shopping with a collection of visual arts and ceramics by CHAW teaching artists.
- Student Art Show from 6:30-8:30 pm – An exhibit featuring artwork by adult students in CHAW’s visual arts classes.
Admission to all events is free and open to the public. Items not sold remain in the gallery for purchase until December 20, 2013.
