Take a trip to Mexico. No passport required.

Don’t miss Cultural Tourism DC’s 7th Annual Around the World Embassy Tour, the capstone event of Passport DC. Embassies from around the globe open their doors and welcome visitors to experience the art and culture.

This year, The Mexican Embassy’s Cultural Institute will display the Diego Rivera: Man at the Crossroads exhibition, offer traditional Mexican games and live children’s music. Mari Paz, accomplished pianist, will accompany renowned soprano Adriana Gonzalez, singing Mexico’s traditional “Cri-Cri” music for children at 12:00pm.

At 1:30pm, join us for a free concert by Radio Jarocho, who will introduce you to traditional music from Veracruz, son jarocho. NPR has praised the group for their great lyrics and edgy attitude. So come on down for a family-friendly afternoon of Passport DC with music, games, and art at Mexico’s home in the United States!
