Honfleur and Vivid Solutions Galleries – 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Vivid Solutions Gallery opens Signal from Noise by Sol Hill while Lillian Hoover’s Edges and Allowances opens Honfleur Gallery. For more details, click here.

Pleasant Plains Workshop – 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

American University Museum opens winter shows Tales of the Conjure Woman by Renée Stout, Impact! presented by the Legacy of the Women’s Caucus for Art, and A Phrase Hung in Midair as if Frozen by Maggie Michael. For more details, click here.

Hillyer Art Space – 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Brookland-based Duly Noted Painters invite visitors to a closing reception and artist talk of their exhibition CUBA, featuring works from the artists’ travel to the Caribbean nation. For more information, click here.

CHAW – 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Al-Mutanabbi Street Starts Here DC 2016 is a literacy and cultural festival presenting over 100 prints and books commemorating the 2007 bombing of Baghdad’s historic bookselling street. The BAE will present a series of films during the festival. For more information, click here.
