Celebrate international flavors this Labor Day at the lively Barcelona-inspired tapas bar and restaurant, Boqueria. The bustling eatery will be serving its boozy brunch menu on Monday, September 3 (in addition to Saturday and Sunday) at the Dupont location.
For $39 per person, guests can enjoy a generous selection of shared Spanish tapas, brunch dishes, and churros, all of which they can wash down with two hours of unlimited sangria, mimosas, and leche de pantera (vodka, coffee, condensed milk, ‘Panther Powder’).
The tapas are deliciously simple in the Spanish style: warm marinated olives have just the right pucker and the ceviche with avocado is really refreshing, but of course the pata negra jamon is the star of the show. But the most enjoyable thing about Boqueria is the relaxation that comes from indulging in the Spanish style of eating. No rush, just good food, drinks and conversation. What better way to celebrate a day of rest?
If you’re in town this weekend, celebrate the light traffic with a visit to south Dupont for sangria, jamon, and Nutella churros.
