If you are one of the lucky ones staying in town this weekend and plan to enjoy a city of less crowded streets, restaurants, and bars, make sure to visit the Anacostia Arts Center for a wonderful gospel brunch on Saturday afternoon.  Starting at 3:00, the center will be filled with live music, all you can eat delicious food, and more.  Celebrate the end of the rainy season with friends, food, and music, all for a great cause!

The event’s sponsors will offer a full day of live music, innovative vendors, live painting and amazing food at the Anacostia Arts Center. Special deals all day from the stores situated inside of the Anacostia Arts Center including Vintage & Charmed Boutique and The Den | Reading Room Artist Exchange. Brunch will be prepared and served buffet style by the Art-Drenaline Cafe. A private vending circle will be hosted in the blackbox theater with an eclectic blend of local brands including jewelry, home decor and holistic wellness and skincare. We will be giving away gifts throughout the event from our amazing retailers.

The event will raise funding for The Anacostia Gracious Arts Program.  AGAP provides safe spaces, creative programming and uplifting mentors to youth in Benning Park and Congress Heights areas of Washington, DC. AGAP is a faith centered, all inclusive program.
